Julie’s practice has been inspired by themes of identity and the impact of capitalism on diverse social components. She creates interactive experiences using sound, video, Web, and generative visuals. Interaction is often seen as an exchange between human and machine. Julie would like to explore participative interactions where changes happen collectively. As a multidisciplinary artist, she has strong interest in interactive installations, performances, and documentaries that address contemporary issues and target a large audience. The use of interaction as a cultural mediation tool is also part of her career perspectives.
