This project was the first website which I coded myself, and outlined the main points of contention between the NHL and NHLPA during the 2012 lockout. The aim of ‘What is the NHL Lockout?’ was to provide an engaging, interactive site in which the user could educate themselves about the lockout’s causes. The site provided an alternative to the usual, dry text-heavy articles about the lockout by using interactive jQuery elements and infographics.
