Discarded

Discarded is a site specific exhibition and intervention that was displayed in the space behind Tratorria Casa Mia, in the Little Italy neighborhood of Montreal. This exhibition acted as an investigation and capture of the dichotomy of garbage and art. Looking and representing the in-between the two of these, where garbage can become art and art can become garbage. The vibrancy possessed by garbage is often ignored while that of art is often highlighted. This exhibition seeks to invite the viewer to reconsider the power that garbage can hold and the lack of power of art objects may have.
