With this project our collaboration was very effortless, because we shared similar understand- ing of the object. We questioned the ultimate purpose of a coffee table and tried to move away from literal interpretations. In our personal practices we both are fascinated by the form, and in this particular project, we chose to embrace a very simple form and this way maximize the function of suggested coffee table. The simplicity of the table enabled us to focus on detail, choices of material and finishing.
