Reflective Dress

The initiative was to create a wearable inspired by biomimicry and qualities found within the wings of the butterfly. It mimics the reflective qualities some butterflies have within the scales on their wings.

The dress serves as both an aesthetic and safety garment. The dress can be worn while biking, as there are removable shorts that can be worn under the dress and due to its reflective qualities, the user will be visible at night. It is made with spandex fabric, and reflective heat transfer.
