Life in 24 Hours

by Alexander Kozina

Life in 24 Hours is an endless runner-style video game designed to both subvert the “quantified-self” movement and express the emotional weight of digital relationships. In it, the player dashes a dystopian cityscape in which they are forced sleep and run a certain amount every day, all the while their friend discusses their worries with them through a disruptive messaging app. The resulting experience evokes how messaging can be both empowering and debilitating as the player attempts to balance their friend’s texts with their need to run and sleep.

Music designed by Leo D’addario.
