Letter L

For this project, I wanted to work with the rigidity and clean-cut angles of the letter L. Having this in mind, I picked a serif font and used wood to reflect my vision. I chose to use tree branches from my front yard.  As for the construction, I used MDF wood as a base and glued every branch piece by piece according to their thickness and shape. The whole process was basically a giant puzzle. This piece is supposed to give the illusion that I’ve cut a stack of branches into the letter L.
