Cirque

Cirque is a playful sans-serif typeface created for the course DART 331: Words in Space.

 

Inspired by a mug, the characters were designed using the circular shapes of the object. A play in the contrast between thin and thick lines of the characters create a joyful typeface. The title was inspired by the festive and cheerful representation of a circus.
