Bondage
by Carl Bergeron-Gagnon
Bondage is designed to give a voice to a community that is not always represented.
These prints on archive paper contain 7 colors printed by hand, the patches are in black, red, or beige leather or in black suede and have a variable amount of colors depending the material.
Bondage represents the gay man in a position of power, a position less stereotypical, far from the thin bodies of Adonis that we see represented in the media. In this sense, I wanted to also represent love in another form, a tenderness based in confidence and respect that we see very rarely.
