WRAPT, The Design & Computation Arts Year-End Show, 2013
Designed, coordinated and curated by a group of fifteen Design and Computation Arts students, WRAPT explores and presents the hidden brilliance of the Design and Computation Arts Department where the atmosphere of innovation, sustainability and creativity come together through multiple disciplines. WRAPT aims to give visitors the occasion to better understand what the experience of being in the Design and Computation Arts program is like and to share the creative processes that drive our work.
The theme for this year’s show revolves around the culmination of over three years’ work done by undergraduate students in Design and Computation Arts and graduate students in a one-year intensive program, and seeks to both “wrap up” the final projects in anticipation of graduation while at the same time “unwrapping” the creative processes used in our design practice. By ‘unwrapping’, by seeing, interacting and watching a variety of media and design disciplines and art practices, WRAPT showcases the creativity, energy and ideas of the next generation of designers and visual artists graduating from the Design and Computation Arts programs at Concordia University.
