About:

This tea cozy threesome is a result of an exhaustive exploration of the entanglements around my family’s kettle which plays an important role in our lives. It is a very personal, functional piece that reminds and embodies our family’s culture and traditions while participating in modern everyday life. Each fit onto a particular artifact that is a key non-human actant in the kitchen dynamic and tea drinking ritual. It is a reminder of the emblematic Russian Matrioszkas and a metaphor for our past, present ans future, as well as the three generations active in my family’s household.
