About:
Based on Charles Darwin’s thoughts in relation to the “Origin of the species”, I decided to create a 3D Zoetrope. Ac- tually zoetropes were used before to create short animations using images. In fact, rather than use images, I decided to design three-dimensional objects with the idea to make a 3d animation. In order to generate the animation, I invent eight different animal shapes, which are transformed during the animation. First at all, I did some sketches with the thought to make a transformation between the animals. Subsequent, I made the 3D shapes using the software Maya. To finish, I print the shapes using a 3D printing at the Hexagram.
