About:

(Collaboration with Veronique Belanger, Kim Sicotte, Tristan Kurtz)

The idea for Velvet Dinner first appeared when we tried to find the opposite atmosphere of Concordia University’s EV building. We found that the concrete walls and floor brought on a cold feeling to the space, leading us to experimenting with its opposite. The tasks were divided so that we would reach visitors on all sensory levels. Working around the university’s installation was our starting idea, but it grew into something that encouraged people to engage with our piece and therefore making it a unique interactive piece.
