Jean-Sébastien Day

My name is Jean-Sébastien Day and I am into graphics and industrial design. Since my studies at Concordia, my work has involved the creation of ecological design which addresses issues such as environmental sustainability. In the past I have created work that explores ideas related to mass media, and which portrays the influence mass media has on our own thoughts and attitudes and how they bring us to question the origins and validity of the messages we are being given. A prominent feature in my work is my surroundings, my environment, and how I am able to work with it. I try to carefully study and evaluate needs in order to find a sustainable solution. I am always reminded that ecology is key to an improved future. I would like to work with a respectable industrial firm that share similar values as I do, following the completion of my degree. Which is to say, one that is working with graphic, industrial, and architectural design in a sustainable way.
